It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our beloved cat C.C who with her family by her side passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 22, 2010.

C.C came into our lives in early December 1997, a sweet faced and gentle angel with blue eyes and a pink nose. Timid, reserved and never one to be easily won over, C.C always moved with great precision and tact, assessing and evaluating each situation carefully and sharing her trust and affections with a very special and selected few.

C.C was also a cat with real sass and attitude, never afraid to voice her opinion or ask for what she needed. Raised a princess, C.C loved her daily massages and tummy rubs and without hesitation, effortlessly took her place as Queen of our castle as well as our hearts. C.C could be stoic like a lion and scared by an ant in the same breath. She loved looking out the window, drinking from the sink, teasing our somewhat challenged dog Taz, hiding in plastic bags or boxes and finding the most uncomfortable pile of papers, cable box, keyboard or pile of clothes to nap on.

Her last day with us was spent peacefully at home lovingly surrounded by friends and family, exploring the yard and taking in a beautiful sunshiny day. C.C filled our lives with such sweetness, joy, laughter, comfort and craziness! I am forever thankful to her for the grace her presence brought into our lives and for the many gifts she taught me including what trusting, being open and offering unconditional love was all about.

Special thanks to the amazing and caring staff of the Ottawa Veterinary Hospital and The Eternal Companions Pet Memorial Centre for their kindness, compassion and support in this time of loss.
Please join us in bidding farewell to our beloved little girl C.C as we wish her great peace and everlasting love on her journey home. We love you dearly mooshkie and your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
